On Sunday, May 18th, Pamela Ulch’s dream came true when she became the proud owner of her own home. In a dedication ceremony, she received the keys to her home from John Sillers, Executive Director of Houston County Habitat for Humanity (HCHFH). Pam, her family, and friends partnered with the Habitat affiliate to build several homes.
Along with John Sillers, the ceremony’s speakers included Kathy Cripe, President of the HCHFH Board of Directors and the Reverend Kay Yates, Pastor of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, also a member of HCHFH Board of Directors. It was a memorable day for Pam Ulch and she expressed her appreciation, “Thank you to all who worked to build this house. Without you I could never have realized my dream to own my own home. Thank you does not come close to expressing how much I appreciate what you have done for my family and me.” as well as hers.
